Inspection Request

Requests for inspections must be made, at the latest, the day before the inspection. Please book using this form or we can be contacted by telephoning Building Control on 01372 303145.

We will make every effort to carry out inspections on the day requested but issues with staffing or inclement weather could affect this. If an inspection cannot be carried out we will call you to arrange an alternative day.

We cannot agree a timed inspection but inspections are generally carried out between 10.00am and 2.00pm each working day.

EBCS, formerly Elmbridge Borough Council Building Control, is the first Building Control Mutual in the country. We are a staff owned company set up to provide the building control service on behalf of Elmbridge Borough Council. The company was created with support and finance from the Cabinet Office and is staffed by the same team that worked for the Authority.
